Prob with FC4 and LimeWire
 

When I start limewire I get this error. I really don't know what I have to do, it's the latest version of java and limewire :s.

Something went wrong with LimeWire.
Maybe you're using the wrong version of Java?
(LimeWire is tested against and works best with with Sun's JRE, Java 1.4+)
The version of Java in your PATH is:
java version "1.4.2"
gij (GNU libgcj) version 4.0.0 20050519 (Red Hat 4.0.0-8)

I'm sry, I thought I had the right version of Java installed, but it seems I didn't.

I have a different problem involving FC4 and Limewire.

The jre2 and Limewire are installed, and limewire opens as it's supposed to when i type in "limewire", but it won't connect to the internet.

My firewall was removed completely (I think), and i'm behind a router. Any recommendations?

Have you done a forum search for a possible answer? Also creating a post under 'Connection Problems' might be more helpful.

I didn't see anything that would solve my problem, so I just downloaded GTK-GNUTella instead. works just as well. ^^
