Default How are you even able to install?

I dont even know where to begin. Because linux sucks, .exe's dont work, but it seems the installation file is an .exe. and yes, i DID download both the other/linux, which i have extracted, and the linux rpm, which buggered up half-way through installing. So, what file do i open?

The other/linux is a zip file which unzips a directory called LimeWire (imagine that) which contains a file runLime.sh which you execute with 'sh runLime.sh'. Oh and by the way, Linux doesn't suck, you do. You could have just read the README.txt file, its only 28 lines.

From a terminal emulator (konsole, kterm, etc) or if you can just browse to the file (using konqueror, etc) or create a link from KDE or Gnome (right click on desktop->create new->file->link to application) or something similar.

The easiest thing to do is create the link, otherwise you need to be in the limewire directory and some linux os require you to type 'sh ./runLime.sh' instead.

Linux is case-sensitive so it needs to be runLime, not runlime. I don't know what you mean by 'that window that pops up'.

F-ING HELL! I follow the steps n the java site for installing it, and get to the point where you type
chmod a+x jre-1_5_0-linux-i586.bin
into the console, where i'm told there's no such file/directory.
And yes, ive renamed the installer to match the given filename.
