transferring mp3s to mp3 player from limewire

I have just purchased an mp3 player (Sony, which does not support linux) and am now wondering how i load it with the mp3's that i have in my limewire library?
Can anyone help me plz?

yep it is a Sony Network walkman flash memory NW-E105
I have managed to set up the sonicstage program on my windows pc now, however it does not recognise alot of the downloaded mp3's i have downloaded from limewire with my linux pc and transferred to windows pc via cd....hence the reason why i would love to know if there is anyway i can use linux to do the transfer!

I may be mistaken, but doesn't Sony use it's own proprietary format for it's "mp3" players? Maybe that's why mp3's aren't playing on them; kind of like how you can't play WMA's on an iPod.

Yeah it changes mp3's to atrac's. However the sonicstage program that does this does not recognise all mp3's downloaded from limewire. Therefore i am wondering if there is any linux program that will do the same thing so i dont have to use windows
