 Hi, im pretty sure Solaris comes with the java SDK files but not J2re runtime..Did you install J2re? If so check to make the install is proper..Go here and see if the plug-in is active http://www.bodo.com/javame.htm If it isnt then you found the problem, if it is then ide start looking for a corrupt install of J2re.. Java 1.4.x works really well with LW and the 1.5.x is almost as good IMHO.. If java turns out to be fine the next thing i would do is try to install LW instead of placeing the folder in a dir..
