 Disk thrashing with Limewire I just installed LimeWire this morning and ran into a problem soon after I got it running. What happens is the disk drive starts thrashing so bad that the system becomes unresponsive for minutes at a time. I'm running the latest beta of Limewire and JRE 1.5.0.11, java is in the system path and I'm running under Mandriva 2006 Community. I've searched the forums and no one seems to have seen just this problem. Allen  |
