First: The rpm should check also a installed jdk and not only jre Second: jdk/jre1.6 also works and not only the older 1.5 [harry@srv-rhsoft linux]$ sudo package-cleanup --problems Setting up yum Reading local RPM database Processing all local requires Missing dependencies: Package LimeWire-free requires j2re >= 1.4.1 [harry@srv-rhsoft linux]$ rpm -qa | grep jdk jdk-1.6.0_05-ea Limewire ist running without troubles and shows Java 1.6.0_05-ea This is a snapshot, but 1.6 Update 3 works also I hope somebody will refresh the package and read this because i can not find a contact on the homepage :-(
