Please Help Me
 

I have an issue that has been announced a few times, but now one has offered a solution to. When i was installing limewire my computer shut down. I turned my computer back on and reinstalled. When i enter the package installer that i have, and hit install, i get an error that says "Only one software management tool is allowed to run at the same time."
The problem is, i have restarted my computer and checked the system monitor to make sure no other aplications are running at all. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
Ps. i am running ubuntu, hardy heron
