Question How to stop LW from the command line?

Version: LimeWire 5.0.11
O/S: Fedora 8
JRE: build 1.6.0_06-b02

Looking for a more "polite" way to stop LimeWire from the command line. Currently using:
Code:
pkill -9 java
which is about as subtle as a wooden mallet! Looking for a way to instruct LW to shut itself down cleanly. Anyone have a tip on how this can be done?

There aren't many Linux users posting here at the moment... if nobody can help you here then maybe try asking at this other forum (click on link): LimeWire Forums

Somebody over there might use Linux
