folders appear in my home folder

For some reason ever since I installed limewire 2.3.1 It creates a Shared and Incomplete folder inside my home folder. Even when I change the preferences to tell it to download to the incomplete folder inside of the Limewire folder and the shared folder inside of LimeWire.
Any idea why?

I have been enountering the same problem.

I have been getting the same with 2.31 and now still with 2.41.

Any suggestions?

delete the old folders after the you reset the preferences. i've done it and had no problems-
scatterbrain
