wont let me dnld exe files

I have never tried to dnld software and it dosent seem to be working is there a procedure to doing this? I cant figure out how to dwnld exe files, whats the harm?

What's the sense? Unless you have Virtual PC or a PC to open those files on. There Win PC executable files that won't run on your mac.
