How to transfer music to itunes?

Can someone Please brief me on how to send my music files for limewire to i-tunes?

In iTunes, just choose File > Add to library, and choose the folder where Limewire stores the music files. But I prefer to move these files to another folder first, in my Music folder, to get a better survey.
