Limewire suddenly loading slowly

All has been fine until today and now Limewire takes forever to start up. When I click on the icon, the splash screen comes up and says "Loading User Interface", and there it stays for over 5 minutes. When it finally DOES load, there doesn't seem to be any other differences.

System Info:
iMac 800 mhz Running OS X 10.2.1
512 MB RAM
Broadband Connection
Limewire Client 2.7.3 Pro

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'd rather spend my time downloading rather than waiting for the software to start.

"loading user interface"

i'm having the EXACT same problem. i downloaded limewire 2.7.3 pro, and it was all fine and dandy until i finished the setup wizard. it just sorta...stopped, at "loading user interface" and stayed there fore upwards of 2 minutes. every now and then, it will load faster, but most of the time, it doesn't. I e-mailed limewire tech support, and they finally got back to me. Their fix was to uninstall all files, and restart, then download and install. i told them i already did this, and then they started telling me to get the "multilingual version" which (as i had already told them) is only for windows, and i'm on mac (i mean...come on!) So then they tell me to do the same thing that they told me to do first, and i emailed back telling them all of this, and they haven't responded. tech support? i dont think so.

is anybody experiencing this problem too? has anyone found a fix?

Mine actually worked great for about a week before it started doing this. I tried the uninstall/reinstall thing first and it didn't work for me either. I think their support for MAC's may be limited. My opinion of course, if you're going to sell a product, you need to support the product. Let me know if they ever decide to give you an answer.
