LimeWire doesn´t start up

I´ve installed LimeWire Basic under Mac OS 10.2 without any problems.
If I start LimeWire I get this error message that says the Programm "Java" couldn´t be startet because the main class "com.zerog.lax.LAX" couldn´t be loaded. The only option is to quit.
Can anybody help me solving this problem?

Do you have an executable ".sh" file in your LimeWire folder? Try starting that. If it still won't work, - maybe you could post it here and I could tell you how to modify it, to make it work.
