question about sharing Ok, you know how iTunes likes to organize your music in the Music > Artist > Album > Song format? Well, if I share my Music folder, will people have access to all of my music? (That's my goal.) Also, how will this affect people doing searches, since iTunes doesn't make filenames with artist or album in them? Example: all of my Nine Inch Nails songs would look something like this: Music > Nine Inch Nails > The Fragile (left) > Somewhat Damaged So if someone does a search for "Nine Inch Nails Fragile", will they see my NIN songs even though the actual filenames don't have any of that info? Thanks! |
Anyone? |
That depends. LimeWire allows the user to see the ID3 tag of any file. LimeWire will not send the complete path in query hits. |
You still didn't answer my main question. When I share my "Music" folder, the bottom left corner of the Limewire window still says "Sharing 0 files". So, is this because I'm sharing a hierarchy of folders, or something else? And, no, I don't have a firewall running when I'm sharing. |
