| Your keyboard method worked, thankfully. Minutes after sending the email, I received an automated response that I want to share with you all, because I think it is telling : ------------------------------------------- "This is an automated bugs@limewire.com email response. Your submission to bugs@limewire.com indicated that you are using a buggy version of LimeWire that requires change. Please visit the LimeWire download page and switch to the current version. This may involve a rollback to version 2.7.13. http://www.limewire.com/index.jsp/download Thanks, The LimeWire Team" ------------------------------------------- This makes me wonder, did their computer read my bug report, analyze it, and send out the appropriate answer, since it's an automated response, or is it programmed to send out a warning when it sees the numbers 2, 8, and 5? Well, unfortunately, the Pro link still points to version 2.8.5, not 2.7.13, and the free version currently is 2.8.4. So, I am now forced to shut off file sharing until they make some needed repairs to their software and their company operations. |
