Weird behavior

For the longest time I have had a problem with file listings in the Search window. It only happens if I sort the results by clicking on one of the column headings. After doing so, when I attempt to click/highlight a file, the list gets scrambled so that what is highlighted is not the file I was aiming for. Usually the scrambling is a reversal of the ascending/descending sort.

This has been going on for a long time regardless of which system or Limewire version has been used. And I have always kept up to date with Apple software/firmware upates.

(Currently running Limewire v2.9.1 Pro on a Cube/500 w/nVidia GeForce2 MX video and OSv10.2.6)

You're right--the search lists don't always refresh when the sort changes. I just scroll up and down 1 page to force the redraw. I'm guessing that this will change when LW switches to the new java.
Still--I don't see the same problem in the connections or library panes. Do you?

Glad you mentioned the Java connection. I had a feeling this was Java related but didn't see anything about this (specific behavior) from any other users.

And, no, this problem does not pop up in any other pane/window.

Do you know what version of Java LW will be moving up to?

Thanks.

1.4.1, I'd guess. Just downloaded LW2.9.11 which is still using java 1.3.1, and managed to get the sort problem in the search results by clicking on several columns and clicking on the results. The problem doesn't get much airtime because it's so easy to work around and isn't always noticable. I don't see it in the other panes though--just the search results.
