playing movies on the mac

I would like to play movies on my Mac G4. I have DivX4 and also DivX doctor II but I can't find Windows Media Player 6.3 --- which I'm told I need. I'm told that Windows Media Player 7 doesn't work for doing this.

Can anyone hwlp me?

try VLC (Videolan.org) and mplayer. If VLC doesn't play it, nothing will.

you don't need WMP to use DivX Doctor 2. It actually converts the file to a QT file format and plays in QT.

You need the coverter and the codec. You can get both form the Divx doctor site.
