Rinstalled limewire and am still having the same problem.
Every time I try to quit (any way: command-Q; the red button; shutting down the computer) the window just minimises and I have to force quit every time I log out. iMac DV 400 MHz OSX 10.2.6 Usually also running itunes, safari and mail. |

I have the same problem with my iMac. I have to "Force Quit" LimeWire.

There's a useful preference called "Shutdown" that allow transfers (up and down) to finish before quittng. This was requested by quite a few people who didn't want to interrupt transfers, but not accept any more requests. Just check the option to have LW quit "Immediately"
