How to disable client browsing in Limewire for OSX?

I notice that when clicking through hosts, sometimes the 'browse host' button is greyed out.

I do not see an option to disable browsing in Limewire for OSX. Is it possible to do so?

Salut, in preferences disable the chat feature, then nobody will be able to browse you. I think the chat and user browsing features should be two different options, but whatever... (allō LW!)

Bonne chance

I agree, it should be separate, or at least there should be an indication that disabling the one disables the other.

Thanks!

Hmm, how did you get the impression that browsing a host is related to the chat feature? I looked through the source and as far as I understand the code the browse host feature is not possible to turn off.

Salut Jum, so that's a tought one! Well, when I see the smiling icon the dl and up window, I can usually browse the user, while no icon means no browse host. Note that this was a year ago when the chat icon was displayed in my LW, now I took off that column wasting space ;) I'll test it now however, to determine if it's true for the newest versions of LW.

Merci

[Edit: you're right! browse host works without the chat feature. This is what happens when you use LW since 3 years, some changes come unnoticed.... It should be an option though. Ciao]
