What the F*&K is happening here, Im giving up on this problem !!!

I deleted 3 gigs of corrupt limewire incomplete downloads, I deleted my .bak and .dat files. I searched and downloaded my files again, the computer has been running for 3 days now , I quit limewire and did a restart, opened up limewire and Yippee all the files in the download list are gone again, and all the files were placed in the incomplete folder again. All the files that were partially or almost downloaded say 0% again !!

What is the deal here, can anyone help.

A suggestion from another post.

Delete Limewire and reinstall. That includes deleting the incomplete folder and the download folder (you can move the files out of it) and then reinstall.

This happened after a hardware instal. I would recommend resetting your PRAM. It's usually done by holding down command-option-P-R on most comptuers.

By doing this, you will lose a few basic system preferences, but don't worry, nothing major that can't be put back in about five minutes.

The same happened to me, All my music, movies and pics were deleted along with the exe files to re- install the program. It is stilllisted in my control panel.
also limewire refuses to acknowledge the email address I used to purchase the upgrade.
All the is left is the exe file for the basic limewire, which I find suspicious since that leads me to an area for a purchased uprade.....I want all of my music and files returned........how?
