Default

Hi mitaking,

Please try using the newest beta (3.7.6) available at http://www.limewire.com/english/content/beta.shtml .

If that does not work, please either post here or email me ( at sberlin@limepeer.com ) with the following information:
- Logs from the installation of LimeWire. These are available from the File -> Log menu of the Installer after installation is complete.
- Logs from the Console (Applications -> Utilites -> Console) that are generated during the installation and the launching of LimeWire.

If the beta does work, also post back here and let us know.

Thanks very much,
Sam

Default Having the same issues

I am reinstalling the beta link you suggested, my question is do I remove everything else LIMEWIRE in order to get a clean install? I upgraded to PRO today thinking it would resolve the issues but it didn't. By the way, I have a G5 about 2 weeks old running OSX 4.5.

I just restarted with a fresh install, it works however LIMEWIRE PRO is not the version... SIGH if it's not one thing it's another...

this is part of the report that I can send to apple:

Version: 4.11.0 Pro (LimeWire 4.11.0 Pro)

PID: 1858

Exception: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (0x0001)

Default Another clue for this issue.

I tried to access limewire files in iTunes. It gave an error message:
Limewire tunes not accessible for unknown reason (-3260) Check any Firewall software....to allow communication port 5214. Hope this helps!

FWIW, I've also had problems with LW on a new install of OS X in the past, but after several restarts, it works.

Not sure why, but it is as if OS X requires a few tries to set the java so it works. Caching issue?
