I'am back to v 3.6.14, v3.8.5 causes connection problems.

Versions 3.8.5 sucks. I have had serious problems with my wireless ADSL Annex B modem router because of that application. I returned to v3.6.14 and everything works fine again.

Same Problems

I have a netgear wireless router and I have the same problem. I start limewire and it kills the router and any computer that is using wireless also loses their connections. Anybody have any idea what causes this and how to fix it?!?

Same here with a VDSL modem. I went back to v 3.6.8.

It is all academic anyway as i will just finish off my started downloads and then dump it. Poisoned is so much better there is no real point of comparison.

I have been watching both the up and down loads in both programs on the same material.

Poisoned smoothly proceeds to complete DLs at varying speeds up to 18/20Kb generally without breaks. LimeWire runs for barely a handful of seconds, usually at miserable speeds, before cutting out. If you do finally suceed in getting a file it can take days for a small file. Large files you can forget.

Poisoned successfully downloads hundreds of files in the time it takes LW to barely get 2 or 3. To exacerbate the problem LW handles long lists of DLs very badly.

A simple suggestion for you is to post in the General Forums if you wish to introduce/push a client which does not currently have a specific forum here.
