What do these messages mean:

Awaiting sources
Need more sources

I indicated not to share partial files, yet I get a lot of requests for those files anyway and then it says 'file not found'.

the music files I have are in itunes and seem to be a m4a format, not MP3, so no one downloads them. Can I convert them to MP3?

Jules, sorry... I'm still a mere "speed bump" using LimeWire Pro. Just started using it this week and am also learning the ropes. I'm not sure I understand how ITunes fits into the LW experience. "She who asks is stupid for a moment. She who doesn't ask is stupid forever." Perhaps you can enlighten me? Should I look into this also? What should I be considering?

I hope you get answers to your questions. I'll be watching for them.
