wav files
 

I've download some wav files, but don't know how to get them to transfer onto my iTunes - do I convert the file to an MP3 (that was just my guess)....any input would be greatly appreciated. Thankz

wav files AND wma files. Can't get them onto iTunes. Any ideas out there?

poster rkapsi is the expert with iTunes: look for his posts. A search for "itunes importing wav files" in Google gave some old links about using mplayer.

I've just setup this page which shows different ways how songs can be added to iTunes as this question has been asked frequently.

The WAV format is supported by iTunes but it's by default associated with the QuickTime Player. If it's the case you can't use double clicking and must use one of the alternative ways or you must bind the wav format to iTunes.

WMA is unsupported and will probably never be supported.

The movie is recorded with SnapzPro X 2.0 and encoded with 3ivx D4 4.5 as MPEG-4. All things considered about 10min of work.

[I hope you like the patches as they're very subtile. I'm looking forward to Greg's THEX patch]

Thanks everyone! I figured it out. I just clicked on Explore in the file menu and all my mp3 files came up as icons. I then dragged the songs I wanted into my iTunes library. Easy!
