I believe I am experiencing security issues through Limewire.
Last night I was perusing my iTunes directory and was suprised to find that I have a shared music folder with some strange cryptic title. I was able to open the list and found music files that were unfamiliar, music files I never downloaded. Eight hours later, the music in this strange shared folder was gone but the folder is still there in iTunes (greyed out). I am unable to open it now (I get a message saying that this folder is not compatible with my version of iTunes). In my Limewire preferences I only download music. I never allow people to upload and share my music directory. Has anyone experienced this problem? If so, what can I do to prevent this from happening again? How can I delete this grey-out shared folder? I know I can remove it from view but it's still there.... lurking. thanks, dot |
