uninstall limewire

Hi,

I uninstalled Limewire by dragging the Limewire Application folder to the trash and deleting.
This was before I read in this forum that there's a mac uninstaller.

I want to completely get rid of all traces of Limewire from my harddrive.

Should I download the latest version of Limewire, which apparently includes an uninstaller,
and then run the uninstaller to get rid of any remaining Limewire files?
Or will the uninstaller not like the fact that the Limewire application folder has already been trashed?

Or should I delete any remaining Limewire files manually?
I've found 3 left :
Home > Library > Preferences > com.limegroup.gnutella.plist
HD > Library > Receipts > Install LimeWire.pkg
HD > Library > PrivateFrameworks > .... > Limewire.icns

Is it safe to delete these 3 files manually??
The file Limewire.icns wants me to type my administrator password before it can be deleted.
Is it safe to delete the icns file?

Thanks.

Should be fine to delete all those. The uninstaller does't touch the preference files anyway. Just search for any filenames containing "lime". Some other apps that might have Lime in the filename are Microsoft Office X (installs some theme files), and OS 9 might have a desktop picture.

If there's a LW in the dock, just drag that to the trash too.

Cheers.
