3.8.10 Pro hangs on startup

3.8.10 started hanging on the splash screen a few launches after I installed it. CPU % is approaching 100% for half hour + and it never passes the splash screen. Tech support had me remove app, remove config folder in Library, reboot, reinstall from a fresh download. It didn't fix the problem. I reinstalled Java from a fresh DL from Apple. Repeated LW's suggestion...No luck.

Any suggestions?
