can you send a message to host you are downloading from?

question is what it is. Does anyone know? Point being is that, I am downloading a file from someone and they have downloaded multiples of that program (as I have) and no of them work. All seem to be corrupt. I would like to know if they found one that works and the name of it in there share file.

Thanks
Jody

Just as important as whatever Peerless mentioned is also the fact that the user you are trying to talk to must reply. I know it sounds stupid but I can't tell you how many users don't reply for many reasons, be it because they're not there or because they don't want to.

Turned on the chat

But there doesn't seem to be a column for it like ther was on the last version of limewire. I don't know if this means NOBODY has it turned on or I don't know where to look, but nothing seemed to change. I quit the program and restarted and nothing is there. I still can't contact anyone.

Thanks for the replys peerless and murasame

You can add/remove columns by right-clicking on the column titles and choosing the appropriate columns. If you don't have a right-mouse button, you can ctrl-click.
