Limewire disappeared!

Absolutely no clue what happened. I just used it last week, and it's always been successful, but now when I click on it, a question mark appears in the icon. When I go directly to the file in my Applications folder, it says it can't be found, that this is an alias, not the original.

I bought the...I forget what it's called. The Pro version? Anyhow, I bought it, and would like to get it reinstalled. How do I do that?

thanks!!

Would it be possible that you accidently deleted LimeWire from the Applications folder?

Did you get an E-Mail telling you where to get the Pro-Version?
If yes, just use the link there (I don't really know which way they use... I've got to go pro myself someday soon (Just now set up my PayPal account, before I simply couldn't pay online, no credit card)).

I guess it's possible, but I don't know how.

As for the Pro Version, I bought it off their website. Don't know what email you're referring to.

Frag, means you didn't get a Mail...
Have you some way to show that you bought the Pro-Version?

that's what I'm hoping to find out. some way to track the order, cause I won't buy it again. don't know how to do that, though.

Oh Lord!
The OSX Archive and Install option does exactly what murasame described, and is recommended for a clean install. All the old prefs, etc, are archived in a .dmg.

Safari is fine (there was a problem noted in the BETA testing over a year or so ago) and old problems are covered by Software Update--Internet Explorer is the one to avoid! http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/busine...browser02.html

You can delete your own posts/threads: use the edit button on your posts to see the delete checkbox AND button.

cheers--I'll delete mine if you guys delete yours (to cut down on the FUD) :p
