using a .bin file containing a suprnova.org movie

hey,

recently obtained a .bin file from suprnova.org containing a movie...

on opening the file within toast I encounter the following folders/files:

CDI (folder): containing nothing
EXT (folder): containing .VCD files = 'LOT_X' & 'PSD_X'
MPEGAV (folder): containing a .DAT file = 'AVESEQ01'
SEGMENT (foldeR) : containing nothing & a
VCD (folder) : containing (would u believe it) .VCD files = 'ENTRIES','INFO', 'LOT' & 'PSD'.

What am I dealing with here, and how can I handle these files in order to view the movie??

These all appear as toast files. It seems that toast has some part to play in this, as it did in opening th.bin file that these folders came from.

Please help

If it's a movie try opening it with a movie player (like mplayer, bsplayer or whatever you are using), - that usually works for .bin files because they are not compressed.

Xcuse me for hopping in here. Most of these files are regular files u will find on any VCD. So of course if u can open it in toast, u can burn it & play it on your dvd player. For mac osx, unfortunately QT can no longer play vcd's (OS9 & earlier QT could, incl. OS9 QT6) As trap_jaw4 suggested you'll need an app capable of playing vcd's. Another one worth a mention b/c it's free is VLC & it can also play other formats such as divx, mpeg, dvd's, etc.
