Depends what type of files you're trying to open with QT. QT's either incompatible, lacks the appropriate codec, or the file is corrupt. Make sure you have all your QT plugins ticked in your QT prefs. And get a backup video player such as VLC (it's free!) & will play mpegs, divx, dvd's, vcd's & more.

Awaiting Sources means basically the same as Need More Sources, except you usually receive that status after you've attempted to force resume & it couldn't locate enough resources to start dwnlding. Initially force resume will search every few mins, but eventually it will give up. AS means u should manually assist it by searching for sources for it. Personally, if I use force resume, I also do a search for that file to help it to find the appropriate sources.
