Default Fire wall/? connection problem...

Mac G-4 10.3.5 & Lime 4.0.8
also using Motorola wireless surfboard/modem with a firewall. I tried using the "tip" about making sure the 6346 port is open. It is but won't connect.

Thankyou. Check this out: http://portforward.com/motorola/sbg9...forwarding.htm it will explain how to open a port for port forwarding for your particular modem. Using a mac the windows may have slight differences in appearances but the principles are the same! So you need to apply the same port no. on the modem, & also for Port & Firewalls on LW & tick the force IP option box in the firewall section: LW's Prefs>Advanced>Port & Firewalls
Don't forget to press both the apply & ok buttons in LW!
Tell us how you go.
