Limewire won't connect with 2nd User
 

Hi everyone...

This question probably has been answered in another thread but I couldn't find anything useful when doing a search so here goes...

Running MAC OS X 10.3.9 on a 1.25 Ghz Powerbook G4.

The main user which originally installed the Limewire Program in a directory that is accessible by all users can connect to Limewire with no problem.

The 2nd user however tries to connect with Limewire and just gets the message "Connecting" with no change.

Both users have full Admin privileges and the Firewall is allowing access to port 6346.

Any idea on what I can do to fix this problem?

So you're signing in under different user names right. In that case your prefs will go to different places. Try deleting them whilst LW is closed (make a note of your settings) & are found here: /Users/your_username/Library/Preferences/LimeWire & try again with LW. Give it time to connect. Only allow it to connect after opening not on computer startup.
