limewire dont work ....
 
ok can somone explain this . limewoire refuses to start up .... is it down ? i have reinstalled it and whatever but to no avail. any info or help ?

Really!!! U don't say ... RU sure!????? Perhaps u should look at the Sticky in this section or search your problem as the forum rules suggest. ;)

Please tell me mac osx users r not so thick they don't know how to look at at Sticky b4 posting!!! Please!!!

It's Java problems, but Apple releases an update for Java and now you can download it from the Software Update and open LimeWire ;)

oh and by the way, my limewire still dosnt work even after installing the security program and i already have the java.

This is why: Forum Rules (click here) Or this Sorry but we don't have ESP. Details help. If you'd looked at other posts you'd know which ones. All you have to do is remove the Java 1.4.2 pt2 pkg from your Receipt folder before reinstalling Java. Of course you'd already read thru the sticky right!

Yes as a moderator I'm real friendly when lazy people don't read the forum rules & want answers yet give scad details.

ok i havnt got a clue. i looked up my java and tryed to reinstall it. now itstelling me i cant do this becuase i have no need to . i trashed the java and tryed again .same result. any ideas ?
oh yeah and the details. my limewire just bounces in the dock. and then stops. it just sits there...

ok . i have tryed reinstalling it . dosnt work . tells me i cant reinstall the update cos i already have it. but how can i if i just trashed it ? i have no idea what to do .
