NO SEARCH RESULTS DUDE!!! g5 os 10.3.9

I've beeen checkin out all the forums for answers and after trying everything Limewire still just stops finding search results. I've tried deleting preferences, reinstalling etc and now am at the end of my tether. I can't be the only one, so where's the answers?.
One guy came close when he started talking about manually setting up proxies to prevent isp from blocking connection but he was talkin about PC. Why can i not get any search results even though hosts are clearly still able to download off me. Please, please, please help, everything was working fine before, now just stopped.-If I hadn't seen such riches i could live with being poor... Cheers!

Shitehouse--How did you know hosts are clearly still able to download off you?

If your java is not displaying results, even though everything else is working "under the hood," try changing the skin to something else (in the view menu).

As Hobo said, more version info about LW and OS X are needed here.

Which isp do you go through?
Is this a new problem & if yes, at what point did it start happening?
Did you install new software over that time?

Set your search preferences to show all qualities & all connection types & set simultaneous searches to at least 5.
Go to LW's prefs>Speed & disable Ultrapeer capabilities.
Downlds>make sure there's several slots open.

Search for something like Let it be or beatles.

ALso try downlding a magnet link from here: http://www.magnetmix.com/video.shtml

Well if you did try deleting your preferences also, then perhaps I was wrong originally. Perhaps the issue is your ISP provider after all. Strange you can upload but not downld. A sudden change where you're not receiving search results sounds to me like what happens to Insight users (another isp.)

OSX preferences are found here: /Users/your_username/Library/Preferences/LimeWire but this file should only be deleted whilst LW is closed.

Another option, set up a new account & install LW there. See if there's any change.

Another option, try Jum's build which is a beta of the betas. It probably won't make any difference but at this point, it's probably worth a try (try the nightly build): http://www.mager.org/LimeWire/ No installation necesary, just mount the dmg & drag & drop the program to your LW program location.
