I'm suggesting you connect the Burner to your computer with a cable that goes into the firewire socket on your computer rather that the usb socket. You may need to buy a cable to do this. A usb socket has a sort of threepointed arrow symbol(all pointing in the same direction. A firewire socket has A symbl like a 3 pointed X I

I don't think we yet know which socket your burner does plug into.

So no need to contact your isp ... we are not talking about your internet connection, just the connection of computer to burner.
