Can't launch Limewire in 10.3.9 with Java 1.4.2

Since I upgraded to Java 1.4.2 I cannot launch Limewire 4.9.23 in Mac OS 10.3.9. Does anyone have a fix for this?? I have used MacJanitor and repaired disc permissions with Disc Utility to no result. HELP!
