Limewire 4.10.9. Crashes at "Tip of the Day"

Many said it was a Java issue.
Tried to reinstall Java update & security updates again with no results.

I finally discovered that Helvetica (font) not being activated was causing the crash. I use suitcase to activate fonts & keep the system font folders trim.

When Helvetica is on, LW works fine.
When Helvetica is off, LW crashes at Tip of the Day"

I saw many had this same problem.

I heard some time back suitcase was causing crashes for LW.

Personally I use Font Book since it's designed by mac & is always up to date without concerns for OS updates that might affect other font programs. And yes, I did try a couple of others in OSX but didn't like them or they didn't work well. OS 9 & earlier was a different story.

Either in Panther (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=25710) or in Tiger (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=301332), Helvetica is a font required by the system: disabling it can lead to problem.
