Link for LW 4.9?

Can someone provide a link or tell me where I can get LW 4.9 for mac 10.4.5

I'm ready to switch back to the old version for a while. Thanks

There is no link per se. LW considers earlier versions as obsolete & not good for the network. But if you really need a v9 version then send me a pm & supply an email address. Just click the pm button below my post. BTW which V9.x version did you want. I've only got a few.

Ok, I downloaded LW3.9.3037 that you sent me but then it says choose application. Which app. do I choose? Is it suppose to be a .sit file? Never heard of that kind of file before. Thanks LOR

.sit is the extension of a compressed Stuffit file.

Tiger is not bundled with the free Stuffit Expander, as Panther was.
So you can download this expander here. Install it and you will be allowed to unstuff the .sit or .hqx files, which are more commonly used on the Mac platform than .zip

OK, thanks, now I go through the installation process and when i click install it says. "you cannot continue, there is nothing to install" What do I do next????

Go to your HDD-> Library>Receipts & find the file called install limewire.pkg & trash it. Then try again. See sample image here Receipts folder sample image

BTW if you're backtracking down to 4.8.1 version, I'd recommend you delete your LW prefs folder. Otherwise LW 4.8.1 will attempt to behave in odd ways it wasn't designed for. LW prefs folder is found here /Users/your_username/Library/Preferences/LimeWire
The LW Prefs folder should be deleted "BEFORE" you open up LW!

But if you're using LW 4.9.x then hopefully you should be fine!
