Post missing features on 18c and two suggestions

Missing features on this version:

Why did you take out the "search page" listing of how many hosts I'm connected to?

The connections page seems very bare now. Where did those options go?

Suggestions:
1. Would it be possible to select an incomplete download and re-inniate the download from that host (or from group?).

2. It would be nice to pause the download of various files (to increase speed for example).

oops, and where's the "disconnect/connect" button??

Personally, I don't care how many files I'm sharing I'd rather have the old info.

Angry 1.7 vs 1.8 - what kind of upgrade is this?

A great product, very stable - but....

I just downloaded 1.8c and there are a number of things missing:

1. It no longer reports the number of files available. This means I have no idea how effective my searches will be, nor can I compare connections from one connect to the next. Please bring this feature back.

2. On the connections screen, you can no longer store reliable hosts for auto-connect. you must do this in the options. Why?

3. MP3 player? How lame is that! Everyone has their own preference. Why do I need this code running when I already have iTunes launched? I definately don't want to launch limewire just to play MP3s either, and I do want to quit it when I'm done searching/downloading

Ok some clarification:

1. I found the number of hosts info, unfortunately it's on options --> statistics, meaning you have to bring up a new window to watch your connections. That's annoying....

2. And connect/disconnect is now under "file."

3. I must say that 18-c also doesn't save settings if you press command-q. I've heard that "exit" does save settings. Can you put in a window that says "save settings?" if you quit this way?

4. The chat: I saw someone asking about the chat. I had the same question, so I looked it up: you have to command click on the host's name to get the chat option (once it's enabled in the preferences).

5. I would really like limewire to keep EVERYTHING in my download window ("couldn't download" and "downloading)" when I quit (maybe it's the command-q thing, I'll try with "exit").

5. I would really like a pause option on the downloads (sometimes I want to boost speed, or accidentally download multiple files from the same host).

6. Browse host isn't there anymore. It never appeared to actually work, but it seemed like a good idea. ANy reason for taking it off?

7. Auto search for files in your incomplete directory would be nice.

8. You need to do something about the crappy files out there. Can you put in an optional filter for other people's "t-312324- filename" files? And a file size filter would be nice .

9. Is it possible to decide on a limewire ettiquette for file naming? Or is it possible to put in an option to "allow" resuming a download of a differently named, but same size file?

I'll post 8 and 9 separately cause they are biggies.

Peace
