 Limewire Will Not Open/Will Not Reinstall I have a brand new macbook running the newest version of OSX. I have had limewire on the computer for a few weeks now and it has been running fine. All of a sudden it will not open. I uninstalled it and tried to reinstall it and it will not install. When i try to open it, NOTHING happens. Please help me. Coincidentally, BitPim will not open either (for those that know what it is). PLEASE help me.  |

| Sorry for the late reply. Try a safe boot & repair permissions. ie: reboot whilst holding down SHIFT key until you see option to start in safe mode & choose it. Then once started, go to Utilities folder & open Disk Utility & choose repair permissions (see sample below.) Then reboot normally. Also delete your LW prefs folder found here: /Users/your_username/Library/Preferences/LimeWire  Last edited by Lord of the Rings; June 1st, 2008 at 10:35 AM. |
