my limewire wont install. (iBook G4)

hey everyone,
i tried downloading limewire to my computer for the first time, i have a: iBookG4 Mac (mac OSx) and for some reason it wont download.

i went onto limewire.com and installed the limewire to my computer, i followed the steps and it says its installed. yet when i click on the limewire icon on my desktop it just brings me back to the installation page for upgrades.

what do i do?

Which OSX are you running? If OSX 10.3 or earlier, see Download Out-Of-Date Installers for Mac
BTW NEVER use Internet Explorer to download programs for Mac OSX. Use Safari or another browser.
