![]() I just downloaded and installed limewire 5.1.4. Running a G4 Powerbook with Mac OS 10.5.7. I installed limewire and the installation says it was installed and complete. I double click in the limewire alias on the desktop and nothing happens. I tried opening from the file menu, limewire still doesn't open. I had downloaded and installed Limewire about a month ago and it never worked. I didn't have to time to deal with trying to get it to work, so I left it. Today I deleted the limewire folder from the applications prior to downloading the newest version. Not a Mac wiz here, can anyone help. I looked for the gnutella file like they suggest from a couple of years back, but couldn't locate limewire preferences. PLEASE help. Thanks |

![]() thanks lord of the rings, I can't seem to even locate the MacOSX: _ OSX -> Users -> Account Name -> Library -> Preferences -> LimeWire. there is no sign of limewire in the preferences file in the library. Can I just install the LW4 and trash the install of the LW5 I previously installed. Nothing at all runs when I click on the LW5 version. Am I missing something here? I appreciate your help. |
