2.1.3 crashes constantly (reproducible)

Thread title pretty much says it. Limewire was pretty stable in the last relese I ran (2.1.0 - I used to run it with 35 ultrapeer connections and it would last a day or more), but has suddenly gone downhill.

I am running on a dual-G4 800MHz running OSX.1.2

Crashes generally happen under heavy load, such as when I "select all" in a 200-result search and click "download". Crashes also occur spontaneously, though less often than when i am trying to download.

My only thought is that this might be a memory error - I only have 256MB of RAM, and the large number of threads used by LimeWire might suck enough memory overhead to cause a problem, especuially due to the excessive (?) number of connections I keep up.

Ideas?

I am fighting the same thing with my white iBook. I get one or two start ups out of the program and then it will crash just for anything I try to do with it, search, open the library, type in search terms etc.. It all swamps it and I then have to reload the program to get a few more uses.

1. Use a memory mapper program to see how much memory, is being used. (It should not be that much, I usually have about 20 simialtaneous downloads going at once. Plus I will be running my other apps. (Photoshop, Premiere, After Affects, and Final Cut Pro 2 and Internet Explorer). I've not had one problem with it quiting yet. (oh, I'm using a dual533 with 1.25GB of Ram)
2. Also check out how much bandwith you are allowing for uploads to others (pref. --- uploads ---- basic
