Default New Mac Limewire Closes Right Away

I just switched over from a dell to a macbook yesterday and i dont know what the hell im doing! but i got some help setting everything up yesterday and limewire was working perfect and today its not!

It opens and asks me if i want to upgrade to pro and when i say no it stays open for a second or 2 and then closes immediately! idk what to do i have moved every piece of limewire on my computer to trash and emptied that(i think that is how u remove programs?)

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT!! and please help me step by step! ive never owned a mac until yesterday!!
THANKS

Ah. Check that your system up to date.

Go to Apple Menu -> Software Update to get your Mac to check for updates.

Repeat until all updates are installed.

Weird.

OK--more info needed, but this is a bit more technical.

Click on the Desktop, and use the Go menu to select the Utilities Folder.

In the Utilities Folder, there's something called "Console"

Double-click it, and this will start recording errors.

Then, start LimeWire, and see what Console reports when LimeWire quits.

You can copy and paste the error messages here, or Private Message me with the errors if they look like they might contain personal info. Maybe they'll give a hint what's going wrong.
