Default Limewire Quits Unexpectedly Right Away

I open LimeWire, it loads, and as soon as i click on something it "quits unexpectedly". It says that the problem may have been caused by the JavaApplicationStub plug-in. I've updated the system and reinstalled Limewire but still the same thing.

Help me? Please?

I'm operating on Mac OS X 10.5.4.

No fix, but here are a couple of possible workarounds:

Restart your machine in Safe Boot mode (hold down the shift key right after the startup tone), run Software Update again, then restart normally. Java sometimes needs a few machine restarts to work properly after a new install.

Create a new admin user account and install LW there.

Get more info: run Applications/Utilities/Console and copy the readout when LW quits unexpectedly. Post the info here or in the developer's beta forum at LimeWire Forums

Hmmm. memory/bus mention makes me think there's a hardware problem (bad RAM--doubtful), but JVMArchs suggests a LW/ OS X conflict.

Hope one of the devs can help. See LimeWire Forums
