Limewire is better in Classic than in OS X

Unfortunately, I'm inclined to agree that Limewire barely works on OS X.

When I got my iMac G4 (running 10.1.2) I downloaded 2.2 and rarely, if at all had any files come up in a search. I then *downgraded* to version 1.8 for OS X and things were a bit better. Although, even when I found something I wanted, (on either OSX version) very often, my download would never finish.

Just this morning, I was using 1.8 and not getting any hosts available for a good 10-15 minutes. I quit the program, opened up Classic, launched Limewire, and suddenly many hosts and thousands of files became available, and I was able to download with no problem.

I'd love to stay in OS X with Limewire, but, at this point, I really don't see why I should.

Any ideas?
