Copies of 1 Music file in Library-Help!

Hey,

So everytime I download a song, I always end up with two copies of the same song in my Library. They both seem to work, I just can't figure out why I have copies of the same song?

Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Thanks,

Megan

Are you sharing your iTunes library? If yes, and your iTunes is auto-copying the songs to its own library, then you will end up with two shared copies. :)

IF that is the scenario, then just choose to share your iTunes library instead of both that & your download folder. Command comma keys to access preferences, then click on Downloads & disable option to share files immediately after downloading.

Yup! That sounds about right. Changed that option and seems to be working properly now. Thanks! :xeri_ok1ani:
