New Version Available reminder

For some time now the latest versions of the Limewire application have been incompatible with my version of OSX

How can I remove the "newer version available" message from the Status Bar?

Sorry, but you can't.

Just ignore the update nag.

It's good that you're aware of what versions are compatible with your OS... some people have ended up in the poo because they've updated
