All mac sound skips with limewire
 

if I delete lime wire from my system, my G4 audio is fine. The second I reinstall it - all of my audio skips again. I've read posts for two hours - couldn't find anything. must be a conflict somewhere. Quicktime and itunes are not the problem.

I know most new LimeWire users think Gnutella is just another name for LimeWire, but it’s NOT. LimeWire is connected to the same sharing network as dozens of other share programs. This network of share programs is called Gnutella, and these are the Gnutella Forums. There are currently seventeen (17) different client forums, and three (3) other forums that are intended for the entire network. This “Rants” sub-forum is in the section intended for the share program called XoloX. You should posts questions in the LimeWire forum if you want LimeWire users to read your posts, they even have a two sub-sections devoted to Mac. At the top of the page you can see the path for the page that you are viewing. Also in the upper right hand corner of the page, the GIF you see indicates which individual share program forum you are viewing.
